Dry eye syndrome

Abstract:

Práce má název Syndrom suchého oka. Zabývá se problematikou suchého oka, které vzniká jako důsledek jiného onemocnění, lokálního nebo celkového. Pojednává o jednotlivých příčinách vzniku syndromu suchého oka, o jejich klasifikaci. Uvádí souvislost syndromu s jinými celkovými onemocněními nejběžněji se Sjögrenovým syndromem), chirurgickými zákroky a farmakologickou léčbou. Věnuje pozornost sekrečním a jiným testům, které slouží ke stanovení přesné diagnózy. Zabývá se léčebnými postupy a metodami, které jsou cíleně voleny pro terapii syndromu suchého oka. Práce je doplněna obrazovým materiálem.

Abstract:

The thesis is called Dry eye syndrome. It deals with the problem of dry eye, which is the result of another disease, local or global. The thesis deals to the various cause of dry eye syndrome, their classification. It states the syndrome in association with other global diseases (most often with Sjögren’s syndrome), surgical procedures and pharmacological treatment. It deals with the secretion and the other tests which are used to determine the accurate diagnosis. The thesis is concerned with medical treatments and methods, which are specifically chosen for the treatment of dry eye syndrome. The thesis is complemented with photographs and pictures.
