Phytic Acid and Phytase in Livestock Nutrition

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou využití a biotechnologickým potenciálem fytázového enzymu ve výživě hospodářských zvířat. Materiály pro psaní práce byly vědecké články a učebnice chemie, fyziologie a výživy zvířat. Daná bakalářská práce se skládá z teoretické části, která obsahuje krátký popis základních chemických vlastností a struktury fosforu. Druhá část se zaměřuje na popis historie objevení a vlastnosti kyseliny fytové od ní odvozených sloučenin a jejich antinutričních vlastností. Poslední třetí část se věnuje stanovení definice enzymu fytázy, jeho formám a zdrojům. Výsledkem této práce je shrnutí praktických výzkumů využití fytázy v krmení nepřežvýkavých zvířat.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the use and biotechnological potential of the phytase enzyme in livestock nutrition. The materials used for writing this work are scientific articles, and textbooks of chemistry, physiology, and animal nutrition. The bachelor thesis consists of a theoretical part, which contains a brief description of the basic chemical properties and structure of phosphorus. The second part focuses on the description of the history of discovery and properties of phytic acid compounds derived from it and their antinutritional properties. The last third part deals with the definition of the enzyme phytase, its forms, and sources. The result of this work is a summary of practical research into the use of phytase in the feeding of non-ruminants.
