Print engine for contracts printed in banking information system

Abstract:

Diploma thesis describes the design of print engine (print server) dedicated to generate contracts signed between the bank and the client. Server may also be used for process automation of printing the documents that the bank is sending to client occasionally. The first chapter investigates the bank as a special business activity with specific market position. The chapter shows the list of bank products and various types of contract agreements. The second chapter uses SWOT analysis to walk through existing solutions and proposes strategy for improving parameters of a new software platform. It emphasis security and robustness of the whole system. In the third chapter there are proposals of the basic subsystems of print engine: templates, database of printing details and PDF document generator. It also describes the models of printing request processing and execution. The fourth chapter presents real-world printing template. The section is closed with the working example of printing request.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca popisuje návrh systému tlačového servera určeného na generovanie zmlúv, ktoré podpisuje banka s klientom. Server sa tiež uplatní pri automatizácii procesov generovania ostatných dokumentov, ktoré banka zasiela klientovi. V prvej kapitole sa skúma banka ako podnikateľský subjekt so zvláštnym postavením na trhu. Kapitola prináša prehľad bankových produktov a zmluvných vzťahov medzi bankou a klientom banky. V druhej kapitole sa pomocou SWOT analýzy uvádzajú existujúce riešenia a navrhuje sa stratégia na vylepšenie parametrov novej softvérovej platformy. Kladie sa dôraz na bezpečnosť a robustnosť celého systému. V tretej kapitole sa navrhujú základné podsystémy tlačového servera: šablóny, databáza detailov tlače a generátor PDF dokumentov. Ďalej sú v kapitole zobrazené modely spracovania a vykonania požiadavky na tlač. V štvrtej, realizačnej kapitole je uvedený konkrétny vzor tlačovej zostavy. Kapitolu uzatvára funkčná ukážka spracovania a vykonania tlačovej požiadavky.
