The study of lightfastness of inks for digital printing by natural and accelerated aging

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo porovnat světlostálost vzorků vytištěných digitální tiskovou technikou. Práce obsahuje popis použitých tiskových barev, potiskovaných substrátů a tiskových technik. Dále jsou v práci popsané faktory ovlivňující stálost materiálů a způsoby vyhodnocení. Stárnutí první sady vzorků probíhalo v interiéru po dobu šesti měsíců. Pro porovnání byla druhá sada vzorků uložena ve tmě rovněž po dobu šesti měsíců. Třetí sada vzorků byla podrobena urychlenému stárnutí v testovací komoře Q-Sun Xe-1-B po dobu 450 hodin. Pro objektivní hodnocení barevné změny byla zvolena barvová odchylka.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to compare the lightfastness of samples printed by digital printing technique. The work contains a description of the used printing inks, printed substrates and printing techniques. Furthermore, the work describes the factors influencing the stability of the materials and methods of evaluation. The first set of samples was aged indoors for six months. For comparison, a second set of samples was stored in the dark for six months. A third set of samples was subjected to accelerated aging in a test chamber Q-Sun Xe-1-B for 450 hours. The parameter color deviation was chosen for the objective evaluation of the color change.
