Vitamin B12 deficiency - risks, causes, manifestations

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na téma vitamínu B12 a komplikace spojené s jeho nedostatkem. V úvodu jsou uvedeny základní informace o struktuře a vlastnostech tohoto vitamínu a jeho funkci v organismu. Hlavní část této práce se zabývá příčinami vzniku deficitu tohoto vitamínu, jaké jsou projevy nedostatku a způsoby následné terapie. V závěru jsou krátce popsány zdroje vitamínu B12 a metody jeho stanovení v potravinách a organismu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of vitamin B12 deficiency and complications associated with this deficiency. The introduction provides basic information about the structure and properties of this vitamin and his functions in the body. The main part of this work deals with the causes of deficiency of this vitamin, what are the manifestations of deficiency and methods of subsequent therapy. Finally, the sources of vitamin B12 and methods of his determination in food and the organism are briefly described.
