Porušování právního státu je v Evropské unii dlouholetým problémem. Její snahy o vynucení dodržování právního státu nejsou i navzdory tomu, že disponuje několika nástroji k tomu určenými, úspěšné. European union faces violations of the rule of law for several years. Its enforcement efforts are not successful, even though EU already has tools designed for protection of the rule of law.
