Jedním z nedostatků reformy veřejné správy v České republice je, že se včas nepodařilo zabránit živelnému oddělování částí obcí. Novela zákona o obcích a jeho nová verze v roce 2000 již jen tento proces dodatečně přibrzdily. One of the shortcomings of the public administration reform in the Czech Republic is that it was not possible to prevent the unrestrained separation of parts of municipalities in time.
