Rewards for use of works in terms of Czech TV

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem diplomové práce je podrobně rozebrat autorské dílo, jeho znaky a podmínky ochrany autorského díla dle platného zákona č. 121/2000 sb. Primárním cílem je zaručit autorům nebo jiným oprávněným osobám zpřehlednění toho, jak Česká televize při odměňování autorů za vytvoření a užití díla postupuje. V diplomové práci jsou zmíněny typy smluv uplatňované Českou televizí, jejich postupy zpracování. V praktické části je uveden konkrétní návrh licenční smlouvy.

Abstract:

The main topic of this diploma thesis is a detailed analysis of authorial work, its characteristics and legal protection of the works according to the law No. 121/2000 yr. The primary goal is to guarantee the authors or other legitimate persons a transparent procedure of rewarding the authors for creation and use of the works. In the thesis there are mentioned the types of contracts applied by Czech TV and the procedures of their processing. In the practical part, there is introduced a draft of a particular license contract.
