Analysis of evolution of pricing, international business, central banking and property rights in the Czech Republic and their comparison in a centrally planned economy and in a market economy

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je analýza čtyř základních pilířů národního hospodářství, které byly radikálně v České republice transformovány: cenotvorba, zahraniční obchod, centrální bankovnictví a institut vlastnických práv. Každý z těchto pilířů bude analyzován v časovém intervalu překračujícím 30 let tak, aby výstupy z analýzy poskytly názorný přehled jak o celém vývoji těchto čtyř pilířů, tak i o komparaci diametrálně odlišných systémů národního hospodářství v centrálně plánované ekonomice a v ekonomice tržní. Aktuálnost tohoto tématu dokládají jak průzkumy veřejného mínění, tak i výsledky posledních voleb, kdy levicově smýšlející strany získávají stále více sympatií. V teoretické části budou popsány a analyzovány jednotlivé relevantní ekonomické teorie se souvztažností ke zmíněným pilířům v obou systémech národního hospodářství, tak i k procesu transformace, např.: teorie vlastnických práv, teorie regulace a dohledu, teorie centrálního bankovnictví, teorie liberalizace, teorie hospodářské soutěže, teorie transakčních nákladů, teorie firmy, teorie finančního trhu, teorie hospodářského cyklu apod. V praktické části práce budou analyzovány zmiňované pilíře národního hospodářství s tím, že nejdříve bude analyzován výchozí stav v centrálně plánované ekonomice, následovat bude průběžná analýza celého vývoje transformace a potom analýza současného stavu. Závěr praktické části by měl vyústit v komparaci zkoumaných pilířů v centrálně plánované ekonomice a v ekonomice tržní v současném období.

Abstract:

The main aim of this thesis is to analyse the four fundamental pillars of the national economy which were radically transformed in the Czech Republic; pricing, international business, central banking and property rights. Each of these pillars will be analysed in the interval which are longer than 30 years, to achieve the outputs of this analysis. It will show as a schematic overview about the evolution of these four pillars, as well as a comparison of two diametrically opposed systems of the national economy in a centrally planned economy and in a market economy. Attractiveness of this topic is caused by the latest opinion polls and in the same way by the results of the recent elections, from which was obvious, that left-leaning political parties, which of whom are gaining nowadays, more sympathies. In the theoretical part of this thesis, it will be described and analysed in regards to more relevant economical theories, which are related to the mentioned pillars of national economy and to the transformation of Czech economy. For example: the theory of property rights, the theory of regulation and supervision, the theory of central banking, the theory of liberalization, the theory of competition, the theory of transaction costs, the theory of firm, the theory of financial market, the theory of economic cycle and others. The practical part will be based on the analysis of the main economical pillars. The first section will include the analysis of the economical situation within the central planned economy, followed by the transformation of the systems and finally an overall analysis of the current situation. The end of the practical section should contain a comparison of examined pillars within the central planned economy and in the current market economy.
