V průběhu genové exprese je transkripce genů z DNA do RNA jedním z nejdůležitějších procesů. Zdá se, že transkripce neprobíhá rozptýleně po celém jádře, ale ve specializovaných strukturách označovaných jako transkripční továrny. During gene expression transcription of genes from DNA to RNA is one of the most important processes. It seems that transcription doesn´t occur dispersed throughout the nucleus but in specialized structures named transcription factories.
