Abstract:

Jako člen Organizace spojených národů a země s nedávným přechodem ke konstituční monarchii. S ohledem na dnešní dobu jsou smlouvy OSN o lidských právech využívány státy k zajištění práv občanů. Ratifikace Bhútánu se zdá být nižší než v jiných zemích. Tato práce si tedy klade za cíl prozkoumat motivaci za odhodláním a nezávazností Bhútánu. Tím bude mnoho faktorů, jako jsou domácí a mezinárodní faktory, zahrnuto do rámce závazků a nezávazků smlouvy. Shromážděné informace budou brány v úvahu při hledání motivace, která stojí za odhodláním a nezávazkem Bhútánu. Cílem této diplomové práce je poskytnout informace o motivaci Bhútánského jednání a pomoci rozšířit výzkum závazků v oblasti lidských práv v nedemokratické zemi Bhútán.

Abstract:

As a member of the United Nations and a country with a recent transition to a constitutional monarchy. Given nowadays, the UN human rights treaties are being used by states to ensure the rights of the citizens. The ratification of Bhutan seems to be lower than other countries. Thus, this thesis aims to explore the motivation behind the commitment and non-commitment of Bhutan. By doing so, many factors such as domestic and international factors will be included along with the framework of the treaty's commitment and non-commitment. The information gathered will be taken into consideration to find the motivation behind the commitment and non-commitment of Bhutan. The goal of this thesis is to provide information regarding the motivation behind Bhutan’s action along with to help extend the research on human rights commitment in the non-democratic country of Bhutan.
