Statistic analysis of sciascopy examinations of children patients

Abstract:

Tato práce je věnována problematice statistické analýzy skiaskopických vyšetření dětských pacientů, objasnění podstaty skiaskopie, výhod a nevýhod této radiologické metody. Důraz je kladen na statistické vyhodnocení údajů z vybraného vzorku skiaskopických dětských pacientů vyšetřovaných na RDG ústavu. V diskuzi se zabývá i otázkami radiační zátěže dětských pacientů, psychologické přípravy pacienta a průběhu vyšetření. Dospěl jsem k závěru, že radiodiagnostická metoda ? skiaskopie je velmi specializované vyšetření s řadou výhod i nevýhod. Hlavní podmínkou je přísné dodržování zásad radiační ochrany (zdůvodnění činnosti, optimalizace ochrany, limity individuálních dávek a rizika). Radiologický asistent je plně zodpovědný za aplikaci ionizujícího záření.

Abstract:

The work deals with the problems of statistical analysis of fluoroscopical check ? ups of babypatients, the explanation of the basis of fluoroscopy, advantages and disadvantages of this radiological method. The stress is put on statistical assessment of the data of a chosen sample of fluoroscopical babypatients examined in the Institute of Radiology. Discussion deal with the questions of the load of radiation on babypatients, psychological preparation of a child and a progress of a check ? up. I came to a conclusion that the radiodiagnostic method ? fluoroscopy is a very specialized check ? up with a range of advantages and disadvantages. The main requirement is strict observing of radiation protection rules (giving reasons, making protection optimal, limits of the individual doses and the risks). Radiological assistent is fully responsible for the use of radiation.
