Commented translation of a non-literary text from Spanish into Czech, field: social science: Teaching Profession and Working Stress: Specification of Concepts of Working Stress and Burnout Syndrome

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is a commented translation and analysis of an academic article written in Spanish translated to Czech. The article is from the psychological field and it discusses the burnout syndrome and the workplace stress. This thesis consists of four chapters. The first part includes the Czech translation itself. There is also the original text printed on left pages for a better clarity. The analysis of the original text in the second chapter is focused on general aspects of the text and it also examines it from the phonological, morphosyntactic and lexico-semantic view. Methods and strategies of translation are listed in the third chapter. The last chapter includes a glosary with 45 therms, which were excerped from the original text.

Abstract:

Předmětem této diplomové práce byl komentovaný překlad ze španělštiny do češtiny a analýza odborného textu. Text pochází z oblasti psychologie a pojednává o problematice syndromu vyhoření a pracovního stresu. Diplomová práce se skládá ze čtyř hlavních částí. První část představuje samotný překlad vybraného textu, který je pro lepší orientaci rozložen zrcadlovou formou. Poté následuje překladatelská analýza výchozího textu, která si všímá nejen jeho obecných vlastností, ale rozebírá jej i z fonologického, morfosyntaktického a lexiko-sémantického hlediska. Třetí kapitola se skládá z komentáře překladatelských strategií a postupů a poslední část tvoří terminologický glosář, který obsahuje 45 odborných pojmů excerpovaných z výchozího textu.
