This Thesis discusses the confrontation of the original and the final (translated) text. It is focused mainly on the choice of lanquage resources in both texts. Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá konfrontací výchozího a cílového textu. Soustředí se především na výběr jazykových prostředků v obou textech. Po úvodu v první části práce, kde jsou uvedeny teoretické aspekty překladu a také pojem funkční ekvivalence, následuje analýza kontextově zapojených lexikálních jednotek, a to na rovině gramatické, lexikální a kolokační.
