Anotace:

This research explores the complex phenomenon of otherness experienced by Russian migrants in Georgia, focusing on their integration into Georgian society during the historical tensions. Through qualitative analysis involving in-depth interviews with Russian migrants, this study uncovers how pre-migration expectations contrast with post-migrant realities, including the socio-economic, cultural, and legal-political challenges. The research reveals obstacles to the integration process, influenced by the response of the host society and the individual experiences of otherness.
