Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o závislosti na hracích automatech. Jedná se o společensky nebezpečný jev, který je lidmi mnohdy podceňován a jemuž nejsou připraveni a schopni čelit. Přitom závislost může postihnout kohokoliv z nás. Nezáleží přitom na vzdělání, životní úrovni, věku, pohlaví. V současné době je gamblerstvím ohrožena celá společnost, což v minulosti nikdy nebylo. Dříve se hraní účastnila pouze omezená část obyvatel. Práce se snaží komplexně popsat problematiku patologického hráčství, přes stádia jeho rozvoje, faktory ovlivňující vznik závislosti na hracích automatech, léčbu patologického hráčství, prevenci vzniku závislosti na hracích automatech, přes možná pozitiva herních aktivit, až k přístupu státu k problému hazardu.

Abstract:

This dissertation deals with the addiction of gambling machines. It is dangerous phenomenon for the society but people underestimate it often and they are not prepared and able to be confronted with it. But in fact an addiction can affect any of us irrespective of education, living standards, age or sex. Nowadays problem gambling threatens whole society and it was not in the past. Only limited part of the population took part in gambling before. My work aims describe problems of pathologic gambling, through stages of its development, factors affecting the formation of gambling addiction, therapy of pathologic gambling, prevention of addiction arising on gambling machines; over possible positives of gambling activities up to state approach to the problem of the hazard.
