Vandalové - nepřátelé všeho římského?

Vandals - enemies of all Roman?
Abstract:
Náplní práce je popis cesty germánského etnika Vandalů k založení samostatného státu v severní Africe na území římských provincií. Především však jeho vývoj v souvislosti koexistence národa vandalského a římského. Vztahy Vandalů a Římanů jsou posuzovány po stránce politické, náboženské a kulturní.
Abstract:
The thesis is a description of the path of the German native Vandals towards establishing an independent state in northern Africa in the territories of the Roman provinces. The primary focus is on its development in the context of the coexistence of the Vandals and the Roman empire. The relationship between the Vandals and Romans is evaluated along political, cultural and religious lines.
