Insulation of valuable historic buildings

Abstract:

Tato práce řeší snížení energetické náročnosti konkrétní památkově hodnotné stavby. Toho se docílí komplexním návrhem zateplení. Provede se zateplení obvodového pláště budovy, u plochých střech se vymění až na nosnou vrstvu celá skladba, vymění se okna a dveře. Zateplí se strop mezi suterénem a prvním nadzemním podlažím. Vymění se zdroj tepla. Provedou se i jiné stavební úpravy, ale ty už jsou spíše renovačního charakteru (rekonstrukce komínů, montáž zábradlí, oprava plotu). Všechny tyto kroky budou popsány a odůvodněny. Toto bude podpořeno detaily a u vybraných konstrukcí výpočtem součinitele prostupu tepla, aby se dalo určit, zda navržené konstrukce splňují předepsané hodnoty (normy). Cílem práce je provést takovou rekonstrukci objektu, abychom docílili co nejlepší energetické náročnosti, ale s ohledem na to, že se jedná o památkově (historicky) cennou stavbu. Objektem, na který se tato rekonstrukce bude navrhovat, je funkcionalistická vila v Českých Budějovicích. Metody, které jsem použil, jsou především metoda pozorováním, metoda analytická a metoda vlastního projektu, kdy jsem navrhl několik detailů. Výsledek práce dokazuje, že se i historická stavba dá zrekonstruovat tak, aby nezanikl její původní ráz a vzhled a aby mohla sloužit několik dalších desetiletí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the reduction of the energy consumption of a concrete historically valuable building. It is achieved by a comprehensive design of insulation. The perimeter wall will be thermally insulated, the composition of flat roofs will get changed - except the supporting layer / load bearing - and the windows with doors will be replaced. The ceiling between the basement and first floor will be thermally insulated. Heat source will be replaced. Also another building adjustments will be done, but these will be more about renovation (chimney reconstruction, montage of a banister, reparation of fence). All of these steps will be described and justified. This will be supported by details and in cases of selected constructions the calculation of heat penetration coefficient will be given in order to determine whether the designs of constructions fit to the prescribed values (standards). The aim of the thesis is to make such a building reconstruction by which we achieve the best energy demands with respect to the fact that the object is historically valuable building. The object on which this reconstruction is designed is functionalistic residence in České Budějovice. I have used various methods - above all the observation, analysis and the method of my own project where I suggested some details. The result demonstrates that even a historical building may be reconstructed so that its original character and appearance don't vanish and it could function for next several decades.
