Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zobrazením D. H. Lawrence jako feministy, nebo šovinisty, konkrétně v dílech ‘Synové a milenci’ a ‘Milenec lady Chatterleyové’. Lawrencova kritika vychází především od Kate Millettové a jejího díla ‘Sexuální politika’ a Simone de Beauvoir a jejího díla ‘Druhé pohlaví’, jejichž kritické materiály jsou diskutovány v první kapitole. This dissertation focuses on D. H. Lawrence´s portrayal as a woman´s writer or a misogynist, particularly in his novels ‘Sons and Lovers’ and ‘Lady Chatterley's Lover’. Lawrence´s criticism stems mainly from Kate Millett's ‘Sexual Politics’ and Simone de Beauvoir's ‘The Second sex’, whose critical theories are discussed in the first chapter.
