Comparison of Operation of a Diesel Engine During Combustion of Standard Diesel Fuel and Vegetable Oil

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá porovnáním provozu vznětového motoru při spalování motorové nafty a rostlinného oleje v kolovém traktoru Zetor 6011. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a aplikační část. V teoretické části je vysvětlen základní principu vznětového motoru, u kterého se rostlinný olej používá, základní informace o motorové naftě a rostlinném oleji a teoretická část měření výkonu a emisí. Aplikační část se zabývá úpravou traktoru pro měření, měřením výkonu na motorové brzdě při spalování motorové nafty a rostlinného oleje s měřením spotřeby paliva. Dále je obsaženo měření emisi u použitých paliv. Následně se aplikační část zabývá vyhodnocením výkonových charakteristik paliv. V samotném závěru je uvedeno konečné vyhodnocení porovnání použitých paliv a použitelnost rostlinného oleje jako alternativní palivo.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with comparing the operation of the diesel engine during the combustion of diesel fuel and vegetable oil in a wheeled tractor Zetor 6011. The work is divided into theoretical and application part. In the theoretical part is explained the basic principle of the diesel engine, in which the vegetable oil used, the basic information about the diesel and the vegetable oil and the theoretical part of the measurement of performance and emissions. The application part deals with the adjustment of the tractor for the measurement, the measurement of performance on the engine test bench during the combustion of diesel fuel and vegetable oil with the measurement of fuel consumption. Also included the measurement of the emission at the used fuels. Subsequently, the application part deals with the evaluation of the performance characteristics of the fuels. At the very end mentioned the final evaluation of the comparison of the fuels used and the applicability of vegetable oils as an alternative fuel.
