Simple continued fractions
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis focuses on the simple continued fractions. The first chapter contains history of the continued fraction and the introduction to the theory of the continued fractions with some basic definitions and theorems. The second chapter deals with the golden ratio, the first and the second Hurwitz's theorems and the last chapter focuses on the Markoff and Lagrange spectra.
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřená na jednoduché řetězové zlomky. První kapitola se zabývá historií řetězových zlomků a úvodem do teorie řetězových zlomků a obsahuje základní definice a věty. Druhá kapitola se zabývá zlatým řezem, první a druhou Hurwitzovou větou a poslední kapitola se zabývá Markovovým a Lagrangeovým spektrem.
