Anotácia:

V této bakalářské práci se věnujeme matematickým modelům popisujícím laser. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty základní pojmy z teorie dynamických systémů a následně jsou zde popsány vybrané příklady lokálních bifurkací včetně některých bifurkací na toru. V hlavní části práce se věnujeme analýze tří modelů laseru. První popisuje laser pomocí populačního modelu a zabývá se změnou populace fotonů v čase. V tomto modelu dokazujeme existenci prahové hodnoty laseru. Další dva modely popisují laser z fyzikálního hlediska a zaměřují se tedy na změny elektrického pole laseru. V těchto modelech se také zabýváme případem dvou spřažených laserů.

Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis we focus on mathematical models describing lasers. The theoretical part summarizes the basic concepts of the theory of dynamical systems and then describes selected examples of local bifurcations, including some bifurcations on the torus. In the main part of the thesis, we analyze three laser models. The first one describes the laser using a population model and deals with the change of the photon population over time. In this model we prove the existence of a laser threshold. The other two models describe the laser from a physical point of view and focus on the changes in the electric field of the laser. In these models we also consider the case of two coupled lasers.
