Cílem předkládané bakalářské práce je zhodnocení působení Petra Veselého na pozici uměleckého šéfa v Městském divadle Zlín v letech 1997-2000. Závěry o jeho činnosti v MDZ vyvozujeme na základě analýz pěti sezón (51. až 55. sezóny MDZ), v nichž se soustředíme primárně na koncepci dramaturgického plánu, režii a herecké obsazení. The aim of the presented bachelor thesis is the evaluation of Petr Veselý in the position of the Art Director of the Municipal Theatre Zlín in the years 1997 to 2000.
