This research aims to investigate the relationship between benefits of Business Process Management and cost-efficiency and to determine if this correlation is influenced by the company’s level of maturity. First, the theoretical background about business process management, its benefits and maturity models is presented. Later, the study employs the quantitative research technique to determine the level of the company’s maturity in terms process management and analyse the benefits these companies reap from Business Process Management. Results showed that the greatest impact on achieving cost-efficiency has the automation of standard processes and the level of company’s maturity plays an important role within this relationship.

Abstract:
