Medication and Dietary Supplements in Pregnancy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá užíváním léků a potravních doplňků v době těhotenství. Teoretická část popisuje změny farmakokinetiky v organismu těhotné ženy, věnuje se teratogenním účinkům léků a hlavním zásadám podávání léků v těhotenství. Tato část obsahuje i kapitoly věnující se potravním doplňkům a léčivým rostlinám. Praktická část práce zjišťuje informovanost žen o užívání léků v těhotenství. Zabývá se problémy, které se v těhotenství nejčastěji vyskytují. Zjišťuje, jaké léky těhotné ženy nejvíce užívají a jak často užívají potravní doplňky. Průzkumné šetření bylo provedeno kvantitativní formou za pomoci dotazníku, který byl rozdáván těhotným ženám a ženám krátce po porodu.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the use of a medication and dietary supplements during pregnancy. The theoretical part describes the changes of pharmacokinetics in the body of a pregnant woman, the teratogenic effects of medicaments and the main principles of the medication administration. This part also contains the chapters about dietary supplements and herbal products. The practical part finds out the knowledge of women about the medication in pregnancy. It deals with the common problems in pregnancy, furthermore examines what medicaments are most commonly used and how often women used dietary supplements. The exploratory investigation was carried out by means of the questionnaire, which was distributed to pregnant women and to women shortly after birth.
