Family-friendly strategy of employers

Abstract:

This diploma thesis elaborates on the family-friendly strategy of employers. The aim of this work is to identify the family-friendly strategy of a chosen organization and to uncover its relation to the needs of employed parents with children within the organization. The work is divided into three main parts: a theoretical, a practical and an empirical part. The first part is dedicated to the matters of family-friendly strategies of employers managed by providing flexibility measures, childcare and time off. This part also deals with the needs of the parent employees, such as the need of a family, the need of the employment and the combination of both. The second part talks about the methodology of the research. It describes the research method, data acquisition, research samples and the main goals of the work. The last part is an attempt to interpret the researched results in the area of employer strategies, parent employer needs and the relations of the two

Abstract:

Témou predloženej diplomovej práce je stratégia zamestnávateľa v oblasti harmonizácie práce a rodiny. Cieľom práce je zistenie stratégie vybranej zamestnávateľskej organizácie v oblasti harmonizácie práce a rodiny a odhalenie jej vzťahu k potrebám zamestnaných rodičov s deťmi. Diplomová práca je rozdelená do troch hlavných častí: teoretickej, metodologickej a empirickej. Prvá časť sa venuje problematike harmonizácie práce a rodiny v stratégii zamestnávateľa, poskytovaním opatrení flexibility, starostlivosti o deti a voľna. Zároveň sa táto časť práce zaoberá potrebám zamestnancov s deťmi, ktorými sú potreba rodiny, potreba zamestnania a potreba ich kombinácie. Druhá časť sa venuje metodologickému zakotveniu výskumu. Popisuje výskumnú metódu, zber dát, výskumnú vzorku a hlavné ciele práce. Posledná, tretia časť je snahou o interpretáciu výsledných zistení uskutočneného výskumu v oblasti stratégií zamestnávateľa, v potrebách rodičov a ich vzájomného vzťahu.
