The author of this thesis tries to analyse the period of Gaddafi´s government in Libya through the theory of authoritarian regimes by Juan José Linz. The thesis tries to characterize this regime briefly and find also the answer for the question which type of Linz´s authoritarian regimes is Gaddafi´s regime near to.
