Práce se zabývá analýzou kolokačních možností anglických adjektiv far, distant a remote, která jsou obecně považována za synonyma. Výzkum je zaměřen na zkoumání podstatných jmen, která s uvedenými adjektivy tvoří kolokační dvojice, a podle jejich užití se zjišťuje, jaká jsou kolokační omezení těchto adjektiv a do jaké míry jsou synonymní. This thesis deals with the analysis of collocational possibilities of three English adjectives, far, distant and remote, which are generally regarded as synonyms. The research is focused on the analysis of the nouns with which the adjectives form adjective-noun collocations in order to find out their collocational restrictions and to what degree these adjectives are synonymous.
