Czech and Slovak Piano Music of the Second Half of the Twentieth Century

Abstract:

Disertační práce se zabývá interpretačním rozborem české a slovenské klavírní literatury 2. poloviny 20. století, která zahrnuje skladby pro sólový klavír, klavír čtyřručně, dva a více klavírů a klavír s doprovodem orchestru. Hlavním cílem práce je upozornit na skutečnost, že existuje bohatá domácí soudobá tvorba pro klavír, která se ve školách a v koncertních sálech málo hraje a propaguje. Interpretační rozbor má v uvedeném ohledu za cíl odhalit přítomnost a najít způsob interpretace náročných technických prvků. Interpretační analýza nás seznamuje se specifiky klavírních děl 2. poloviny 20. století. Pozornost je věnována metro-rytmickému průběhu skladeb, zvláštnostem moderní notace, stavbě a výskytu akordů, skokům, pasážím a figuracím a dalším technickým a výrazovým prvkům. V závěrečných kapitolách je zmíněno hudební názvosloví používané v soudobých skladbách, uvedeny a stručně popsány různé typy klavírů, jejichž vznik je úzce spjat se soudobou hudbou, a určitý prostor je věnován i chybám nalezeným v notových materiálech a ukázkám z grafických partitur pro klavír. Součástí disertační práce jsou dvě přílohy – zvukové CD s nahrávkami vybraných soudobých klavírních skladeb v interpretaci autorky disertační práce a datové CD, obsahující seznamy klavírních děl českých a slovenských soudobých skladatelů.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the interpretative analysis of the Czech and Slovak piano literature composed for solo piano, four-handed piano, two or more piano and piano accompanied by an orchestra in the second half of the twentieth century. The mail goal of thesis is to warn of the existence of the plentiful native contemporary piano works which aren´t much played at schools and concert halls. The interpretative analysis has to show the presence of the strenuous technical elements and to find the way of their interpretation. The interpretative analysis exposes us the particularities of the piano works of the second half of the twentieth century. The thesis contain the metre-rhythmical development of the works, strangeness of the modern notation, construction and occurrence of the chords, jumps, passages and divisions and other technical and expressional elements. The final chapters contain music terminology used in the contemporary music, the mention about various sort of the piano, about the mistakes founded in the sheets and graphic scores for piano. The component of the thesis are two supplement – music compact disc with the records of chosen contemporary piano works recorded by author of this thesis and date´s compact disc contained the lists of the piano works by Czech and Slovak contemporary composers.
