Parents point of view on the ideal kindergarten teacher

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou ideální učitelky mateřské školy očima rodičů, což může v mnoha případech zjednodušit a zkvalitnit komunikaci mezi učitelkou a rodiči. V teoretické části lze najít bližší pohled na učitelku mateřské školy, co vše by měla mít osvojené z hlediska odborné literatury, co považují na profesi učitelky důležité rodiče a jaké podmínky v mateřské škole mohou učitelce pomoci k dosažení lepších výsledků. Praktická část se zabývá výzkumným šetřením, které probíhalo dotazníkovou formou. Zjišťuje především, jaké vlastnosti jsou pro ideální učitelku typické a které by se u ní objevit neměly. Dále se zabývá tím, zda rodiče hodnotí ideál učitelky z hlediska pohlaví, věku, vzdělání, fyzického vzhledu a zda je sama rodičem. V poslední řadě se zabývá i otázkou toho, co je pro povolání učitelky v mateřské škole důležité podle rodičů. Z dotazníkového šetření vyplývá, že rodičům nezáleží na pohlaví, věku, vzdělání, ani na tom, zda je učitelka mateřské školy sama rodičem. Je pro ně mnohem důležitější, aby měla ráda děti a svou práci. Dokázala děti zaujmout, vzdělávat a vychovávat formou hry a zábavnou formou, přistupovala k nim individuálně, dokázala si u nich zjednat respekt a stanovila pevné hranice. Také kvalitně komunikovala s rodiči, popřípadě jim dokázala poradit v obtížných situacích.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the ideal kindergarten teacher from the parents' point of view, which in many cases can simplify and improve the communication between teacher and parents. In the theoretical part, there is a closer look at the kindergarten teacher, precisely on what should be adopted and learnt from the point of view of professional literature, what is important for parents when considering the profession of teacher and what conditions in the kindergarten can help the teacher to achieve better results. The practical part deals with the research survey, which took place in a questionnaire form. It shows the most important qualities of an ideal teacher and indicates which should not be considered. It also deals with the question if the ideal teacher has a specific gender, age, education, appearance and whether the teacher is a parent herself. Finally, it also deals with the question of what is important for the profession of teacher in kindergarten according to parents. The questionnaire survey shows that parents do not consider as important gender, age, education, or whether the teacher is a parent herself at all. It is much more important for them that the teacher likes children and her job. The teacher should be able to get the attention, educate and nurture children in a form of play and any fun form, approach them individually, be able to earn respect from them and set firm boundaries. She should also communicate well with their parents and be able to advise them in difficult situations.
