Czech Women and Suffrage 1918 – 1920 in Women Journals
Abstract:
Diplomová práce se věnuje ženám a jejich zisku volebního práva se vznikem Československa v roce 1918 z pohledu trojice tehdejších ženských časopisů. Na stránkách Evy, Ženské revue a Ženského světa porovnávám v letech 1918 - 1920 reakce jednotlivých časopisů na nově nabyté právo.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with women and gaining their suffrage in connection with the establishment of Czechoslovakia in 1918 from the perspective of three women’s magazines of that time. Drawing on the pages of Eva, Ženské revue and Ženský svět, I compare the responses of each magazine to the newly acquired right during the years 1918 – 1920.
