Abstract:

Tato práce pojednává o situaci na trhu krátkodobého úvěrování v oblasti firemního bankovnictví. Jejím účelem je zjistit, proč v České republice není používání eskontního úvěru rozšířeno jako v jiných státech Evropské unie. Domnívám se, že absence tohoto typu úvěrování na našem trhu vyplývá z absence využití směnky jako platebního nástroje, což se projevuje mimo jiné i v omezení používání směnek v oblasti trade finance jako je například otevření dokumentárního akreditivu, jehož čerpání lze mimo jiné provést také za pomoci směnky. Tato částečná deformace je zřejmě způsobena nedostatečnými zkušenostmi s tímto typem zúčtování obchodních závazků.

Abstract:

This bachelors’ thesis considers situation on the market of short-term credit facilities in the scope of corporate banking. Its purpose is to find out why the discount credit facility is not developed in the Czech Republic as much as in the other member states of European Union. I believe the absence of this credit facility results from the absence of trade bills as the mean of payment which is the possible restriction of trade bill uses in the trade finance field. That’s why the use of trade bill in the documentary letter of credit is not that much common as it could be. This partial deformation is possibly caused by insufficient experiences with this kind of the above mentioned bill as the mean of reckoning.
