Fourier Analysis in Music
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce je zaměřená na periodický průběh vln, který je popsán z hlediska akustiky, matematiky a hudební teorie. Jednotlivé prvky jsou rozebrány z pohledu Fourierovy transformace. Ta souvisí s vibracemi struny, které rozeznívají vyšší harmonické složky, které jsou v hudbě označovány jako alikvótní tóny.
Abstract:
Thesis is focused on periodic waves, which are described in terms of acoustics, mathematics and musical theory. The individual elements are analyzed from the point of view of a Fourier transform. This is related to strings vibrations that make up for harmonics, which referred to overtones in the music.
