Tato práce shrnuje poznatky o biosyntéze vitaminu A, vitaminu E a vícenenasycených mastných kyselin, a také poznatků o identifikaci a klonování genů kódujících tuto biosyntézu. Významnou aplikací je možnost introdukce takových genů do rostlinného genomu za účelem syntézy těchto látek rostlinami. Abstract:
This thesis summarizes the knowledge regarding the biosynthesis of vitamin A, vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids, and about the identification and cloning of genes encoding this biosynthesis. An important application is the introduction of these genes into plant genome for micronutrient synthesis in plants.
