Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá aktuálním společenským tématem a tím jsou mezigenerační vztahy. Konkrétně se věnuje tomu, jak na tyto vztahy nahlížejí senioři. Ve své práci si kladu za cíl zjistit, jakým způsobem vnímají senioři mezigenerační vztahy v rodinném kontextu, obzvláště pak mapuji jejich pohled na mladou generaci, kterou blíže specifikuje. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě části: teoretickou a empirickou. První kapitola teoretické části je věnována obecné charakteristice stáří, zejména jeho somatickým a psychickým projevům. Další kapitoly se vztahují k psychosociálnímu pojetí stáří, problematice blízkých vztahů seniorů a teoretickou část zakončuje stěžejní kapitola o mezigeneračních vztazích. Zde se pojednává především o rodinných vztazích, důkladně se zabývá vztahy seniorů s jejich vnoučaty, věnuje se též mezigeneračním střetům a nejrůznějším úskalím těchto relací. V empirické části, kterou představuje kvalitativní výzkumná studie, se nejprve objasňují metodologické postupy, postupy při výběru vzorku a sběru dat. Stěžejní částí je analýza a interpretace získaných dat, která byla pořízena pomocí semistruktorovaných rozhovorů s devíti respondenty. Pomocí otevřeného kódování jsem dospěla k 4 hlavním kategoriím a na dvě hlavní výzkumné otázky, které zní, Jak senioři vnímají mezigenerační vztahy ve svém rodinném kontextu? A Co si senioři myslí o současné mladé generaci?, se mi podařilo určitým způsobem odpovědět. Výsledná zjištění uvádím v následné diskuzi a shrnuji v závěru.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with current social issues and that are inter-generational realtionships. Specifically, it examines how these relationships are seen by seniors. The goal of my work is to explore how seniors perceive intergenerational relationships in a family context, especially I map their views on the young generation, which is specified. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and empirical. The first theoretical chapter is devoted to general characteristics of old age, particularly the somatic and psychological symptoms. Other chapters relate to the psycho-social sense of elderly, social perceptions of old age and the issue of close relationships of elderly. Theoretical part is closed with a key-chapter about inter-generational relationships. Here, deals primarily with family relationships, thoroughly engaged in relationships between seniors and grandchildren, also deals with intergenerational conflicts and the various pitfalls of relationships. In the empirical part, which is a qualitative research study, are first explaining the methodological procedures, procedures for sampling and data collection. The main part is the analysis and interpretation of collected data, which was acquired by half structured interviews with nine respondents. Using open coding, I came to the 4 main categories and two main research questions, which are how older people perceive intergenerational relationships within their family context? And what seniors think about the young generation?, I managed to answer a certain way. I present the final findings in the subsequent discussion and all findings are summarized in the conclusion.
