Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Sdílení. Sociální aspekty terminální fáze života“ se v teoretické části zabývá fenoménem umírání a smrti v evropské kultuře v minulosti a dnes. Cílem práce je popsat postupně se měnící sociální role těžce nemocného a umírajícího člověka, stejně jako přiblížit tuto nelehkou životní etapu z pohledu jeho blízkých, kteří o něj pečují. Fáze umírání jsou popsány zejména z psychologického hlediska, pozornost je věnována komunikaci s lidmi, kteří se nachází v konečné fázi života. Dílčími cíli této práce je také zmínit možnosti pomoci umírajícím i lidem je doprovázejícím, stejně jako přiblížit proces truchlení pozůstalých. Proto je v posledních kapitolách zmíněn význam paliativní péče, kterou v České republice kromě hospicových zařízení v poslední době stále častěji poskytují i sdružení domácí hospicové péče. Jedním z nich je i občanské sdružení Sdílení se sídlem v Telči, v kraji Vysočina, kterému je věnován závěr teoretické části. V empirické části byla jako metoda kvalitativního výzkumu použita fenomenologická analýza. Posloužila k interpretaci dat, která byla získána formou nestrukturovaných rozhovorů s lidmi, kteří mají či měli zkušenost s péčí o těžce nemocného a umírajícího člověka.

Abstract:

In the theoretical part, Bachelor thesis "Sharing. Social Aspects of Terminal Phase of Life," focuses on the phenomenon of death and the dying process in European culture in the past and today. The purpose of this work is to describe the gradually changing social role of a seriously ill dying person as well as to present and shed light on this challenging stage of life from the perspective of the dying person's family and relatives who provide the care. The study examines the stage of dying mainly from a psychological perspective with special attention given to the ways of communication with people who are situated at the final stage of life. A particular purpose of this work is to mention the possibility of help to the dying person and the people who accompany them by bringing closer attention on the process of “grieving” of the survivors. Therefore, the last chapter of this work emphases the importance of palliative care that has become more prevalent in the recent years in the Czech Republic. Palliative care often provides home hospice care in addition to the traditional hospice facilities. One of palliative care organizations is the civil organization "Sharing" based in Telc, in Vysocina County, that is mentioned at the end of the theoretical part. A phenomenological analysis was used as a qualitative research method in the empirical part of this work. The method served to interpret data that was obtained from interviews with people who have or have had experience with care for the seriously ill and dying person.
