Security Risks, Components and Objectives of EU Security

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá bezpečnostní problematikou se zaměřením na aktuální bezpečnostní rizika EU, která jsou obsažena ve zvolených bezpečnostních dokumentech. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je vymezení pojmů bezpečnostní terminologie v rámci bezpečnostních věd a poskytnutí uceleného náhledu do problematiky aktuálních bezpečnostních rizik, jimž EU čelí během posledních let a současně nabízí porovnání vybraných aktuálních bezpečnostních rizik EU. V teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny bezpečnostní pojmy související s bezpečnostní problematikou. Dále je práce zaměřena na deskripci evropských dokumentů zabývající se bezpečnostní problematikou EU. V praktické části je provedena analýza vybraných aktuálních bezpečnostních rizik. Tato analýza rizik je zaměřena na vybraná bezpečnostní rizika, která jsou charakterizována v praktické části této práce. Pro komparaci rizik jsou zvolena rizika jako terorismus a kyberkriminalita, proto se v této kapitole zabývám také definicí těchto pojmů. Cílem praktické části diplomové práce je komparace zjištěných dat související s vývojem terorismu a kyberkriminality za období od platnosti Evropského programu pro bezpečnost do současnosti.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with security issues with a focus on the current EU security risks, which are contained in the selected security documents. The main objective of the thesis is to define the concepts of security terminology in the security sciences and provide a comprehensive insight into the current security risks that the EU has faced in recent years and also offers a comparison of selected current EU security risks. The theoretical part of the thesis defines security concepts related to security issues. Furthermore, the work focuses on the description of European documents dealing with EU security issues. In the practical part, an analysis of selected current security risks is performed. This risk analysis focuses on the selected security risks that are characterized in the practical part of this work. Risks such as terrorism and cybercrime are chosen to compare risks, so in this chapter I also deal with the definition of these terms. The practical part of the thesis aims at comparing the identified data related to the development of terrorism and cybercrime over the period from the validity of the European Security Programme to the present.
