Profession perception by a midwife

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá subjektivním vnímání profese porodních asistentek pracujících na porodním sále. Jedná se o teoreticko-průzkumnou práci. Teoretická část přibližuje historii porodní asistence, definuje profesi porodní asistentky a jejich vzdělání, a věnuje se vnímání a faktorům ovlivňující tuto profesi. V průzkumné části diplomové práce byl proveden průzkum pomocí nestandardizovaného dotazníku, který analyzoval, jak porodní asistentky vnímají svou profesi. Hlavním cílem práce bylo zjistit subjektivní vnímání profese porodními asistentkami pracujícími na porodním sále.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the subjective perception of the profession of midwives working in the delivery room. It is a theoretical-research work. The theoretical part introduces the history of midwifery, defines the profession of midwives and their education, and discusses the perceptions and factors influencing the profession. In the exploratory part of the thesis, a survey was conducted using a non-standardised questionnaire to analyse how midwives perceive their profession. The main aim of the thesis was to find out the subjective perception of the profession by midwives working in the delivery room.
