Impact of virtualization on benchmark accuracy
Abstract:
Cieľom tejto práce bolo zmerať a analyzovať vplyv virtualizácie na stabilitu výsledkov benchmarkov. Začiatok práce je zameraný na opis benchmarkingu, použitých nástrojov, softwaru a hardwaru nasledovaný krátkym opisom virtualizácie a jej druhov. Koniec práce obsahuje popis procesu benchmarkovania a analýzu výsledkov.Abstract:
The goal of this thesis was to measure and analyze the impact of virtualization on the stability of benchmark results. The beginning of the thesis is focused on description of benchmarking, used tools, software and hardware, followed by short description of virtualization and its types. The end of the thesis is dedicated to description of the benchmarking process and the analysis of the results.
