Bartashovych, K. Motivace zahraničních studentů ke studiu na vysoké škole v České republice. Bakalářská práce. Brno: Mendelova univerzita, 2024. Tato práce zkoumá motivace zahraničních studentů k výběru a studiu na vysokých školách v České republice. Proběhl elektronický průzkum, kterého se zú-častnili zahraniční studenti Mendelovy univerzity studující Provozně ekonomickou fakultu. Průzkum byl rozdělen na dvě části. V první části byly shromážděny obecné údaje, jako je země původu studenta, pohlaví, titul, zda je aktuálně zaměstnán, věk, způsob financování studia, proč si student vybral Českou republiku, zda tam plánuje zůstat, pokud se chce přestěhovat do jiné země, jaké jsou k tomu důvody a kde přesně. Druhá část průzkumu posuzovala různé faktory ovlivňující rozhodovací proces, jako jsou kurzy v rámci vzdělávacího programu, možnost prodloužení studia, kvalita a dostupnost vzdělávacích služeb, umístění fakulty, životní náklady a studium, možnosti zaměstnání, reklama univerzity, zástupci ústavu a pověst ústavu a dostupnost finanční pomoci. Bylo použito 5 typů odpovědí „velmi důležité“, „důležité“, „nepříliš důležité“, „není důležité“ a „velmi nedůležité“. Závěry této práce jsou cenné pro univerzity a úřady při podpoře většího přílivu zahraničních studentů, a tím posílení pozice České republiky jako konkurenceschopného a atraktivního místa pro získání vysokoškolského vzdělání

Abstract:

Bartashovych, K. Motivation of foreign students to study at a university in the Czech Republic. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2024. This thesis examines the motivations of foreign students to choose and study in higher institutions in the Czech Republic. An electronic survey was conducted in which international students of Mendel University studying at the Faculty of Business and Economics took part. The survey was divided into two parts. In the first part, general data was collected, such as the student's country of origin, gender, degree, if they are currently employed, age, studies financing method, why the student chose the Czech Republic, whether he/she plans to stay there, if he/she wants to move to another country, what are the reasons for this and where exactly. The second part of the survey assessed various factors influencing the decision-making process, such as courses within the education program, possibility of extension of your studies, quality and availability of educational services, location of the faculty, cost of living and studying, employment opportunities, advertising of the university, representatives of the institute, and reputation of the institute, and availability of financial aid. 5 types of answers "very important", "important", "not very important", "not important", and "very unimportant" were applied. The conclusions of this work are valuable for universities and authorities in encouraging a greater flow of foreign students, thereby strengthening the position of the Czech Republic as a competitive and attractive place for obtaining higher education.
