The importance of PR in the implementation of health care facilities

Abstract:

Tématem této práce je zhodnocení důležitosti využívání PR v centrech asistované reprodukce v České republice. Reprodukční medicína je jedním z nejrychleji se rozvíjejících lékařských oborů a zároveň jedním z nejlukrativnějších segmentů v poskytování zdravotnické péče. Konkurenceschopnost těchto center závisí nejen na úspěšnosti léčby neplodných párů, ale ve značné míře také na tom, jakým způsobem dokáží komunikovat s veřejností, v převažující míře s neplodnými páry a spolupracujícími lékaři. Tedy do jaké míry dokáží aplikovat Public Relations (PR). Využití nástrojů PR v centrech asistované reprodukce je vyhodnoceno pomocí třech hypotéz, na základě osobních rozhovorů ve čtyřech vybraných centrech léčby neplodnosti v české republice.

Abstract:

The topic of this work is the evaluation of the the importance of the PR use in assisted reproduction centers in the Czech Republic. The reproductive medicine is one of the fastest developing medical disciplines and at the same time one of the most lucrative segments in providing health care. The competitiveness of those centers depends not only on the success of treatment of infertile couples, but to a largely extent also on how they can communicate with the public, in a majority with infertile couples and cooperating physicians. It means the extent to which they can apply Public Relations (PR). The use of PR tools in the centers of assisted reproduction is evaluated according to three hypotheses, based on personal interviews in four chosen centers of infertility treatment in the Czech Republic.
