Abstract:

The thesis is composed by the translation and subsequent commentary of the first chapter of the novel The nocturnal runner written by the uruguayan writer Hugo Burel. The commentary consists in the explanation of some procedures taken by the author of the thesis. Besides, the readers of this will learn something about one of the most popular and peculiar contemporary writer of Uruguay

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se skládá z překladu úvodní kapitoly románu Noční běžec uruguayského spisovatele Huga Burela a následného komentáře, jehož funkcí je objasnit čtenáři některé překladatelské postupy, k nimž se autor diplomové práce uchýlil. Součástí textu komentáře je rovněž podrobnější přiblížení lingvistických a kulturních fenoménů, s nimiž se autor diplomové práce během psaní této setkal a které shledal natolik zajímavými, že považoval za žádoucí sdílet své pocity s dalšími čtenáři, kteří se v diplomové práci též dozví nemálo informací o jedné z nejzajímavějších postav současné uruguayské literatury
