New Possibilities Of Treatment Of Primary Myelofibrosis

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zpracovává téma nových možností terapie primární myelofibrózy. Jednotlivé kapitoly poskytují vhled do komplexnosti daného onemocnění, zahrnující patogenezi, diagnostiku a symptomatologii. Poslední kapitola, věnovaná terapii, shrnuje nejen dosavadní konvenční přístupy terapie primární myelofibrózy, ale zabývá se také novými možnostmi terapie. Tyto nové možnosti zahrnují inhibitory Janusových kináz, histonových deacetyláz nebo hypometylační látky. Dalšími příklady jsou inhibitory telomerázy, Aurora kinázy A či inhibitory anti-apoptotické signalizace.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis deals with the topic of new possibilities of treatment of primary myelofibrosis. Individual chapters provide an insight into the disease complexity, including pathogenesis, diagnostics and symptomatology. The last chapter is dedicated to therapy and summarizes existing conventional treatment approaches of primary myelofibrosis as well as the new treatment possibilities. These new possibilities include Janus kinase inhibitors, histone deacetylase inhibitors or hypomethylating agents. Another examples are inhibitors of telomerase, Aurora kinase A or inhibitors of anti-apoptotic signaling pathways.
