Crisis Communication of the Czech Government During COVID-19 Pandemic and Public Response

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá krizovou komunikací vlády ČR během pandemie Covid - 19 a postoji veřejnosti k jejímu zvládnutí. Teoretická část se opírá o odbornou literaturu a definuje pojmy krize, krizová komunikace, pandemie. Dále obsahuje základní informace o Public relations a s ním spojenou krizovou komunikaci, komunikaci s médii a metodu výzkumu obsahovou analýzu. Praktická část analyzuje konkrétní prohlášení v krizové komunikaci představitelů vlády ČR a postoje obyvatel během pandemie Covid - 19.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the crisis communication of the Czech government during the Covid - 19 pandemic and the public 's attitude to managing it. The theoretical part is based on professional literature and defines the concepts of crisis, crisis communication, pandemic. It also contains basic information about public relations and related crisis communication, communication with the media and a research method of content analysis. The practical part analyzes a specific statement in the crisis communication of the represen-tatives of the Czech government and the attitudes of the population during the Covid - 19 pandemic.
