The potential of railways to reduce CO2 emissions from transport
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou současného stavu železniční, silniční nákladní dopravy a jejich vlivu na emise CO2. Silniční a železniční nákladní dopravci poskytly data o spotřebě vozidel. Tato data byla využita pro výpočet produkce CO2 v konkrétních relacích. Výpočty byly zhodnoceny a byl stanoven potenciál železnice ke snížení CO2 z dopravy.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the current state of rail and road freight transport and their impact on CO2 emissions. Road and rail freight carriers provided data on vehicle consumption. These data were used to calculate CO2 production in specific sessions. The calculations were evaluated and the potential of the railways to reduce CO2 from transport was determined.
