Vietnamese migration to the Czech Republic and remittances

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá migrací a pojmy s ní spojené. Dále se také zaměřuje na důsledky migrace, především na ekonomický vliv, který má migrace na země. Konkrétně zkoumá vliv remitencí zemí, které je přijímají. V teoretické části představuje základní pojmy spojené s migrací. Text se zejména zaměřuje na migraci z Vietnamu do České republiky. Dále se budu věnovat ekonomickému důsledku migrace remitencím. V poslední části práce uvádím hloubkové rozhovory se zástupci vietnamské komunity v ČR, na kterých ověřuji informace získané sběrem sekundárních dat.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with migration and the terms associated with it. It also focuses on the effects of migration, especially on the economic impact migration has on countries. Specifically, it examines the impact of the remittances of the countries that receive them. The theoretical part presents the basic concepts associated with migration. In particular, the text focuses on migration from Vietnam to the Czech Republic. Furthermore, I will deal with the economic consequences of migration, remittances. In the last part of the thesis, I present interviews with representatives of the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic, where I verify the information obtained by collecting secondary data.
