Finančná analýza predstavuje neoddeliteľnú súčasť finančného riadenia firmy, umožňuje identifikovať silné aj slabé miesta, pomáha udržať efektívnosť podniku a zisťuje možnosti zlepšenia výsledkov, je východiskom pre zostavovanie plánov, a tak pomáha pri rozhodovaní o ďalšom vývoji podniku.
