The thesis deals with rhetorical figures in the political speeches of Fidel Castro. In the first part we present rhetorical figures and tropes based on the clasical concept of Quintilianus and H. Práce se zabývá rétorickými figurami v politických projevech Fidela Castra. V úvodní části jsou představeny a příklady ilustrovány tropy a figury podle klasického schématu Quintiliána respektive H. Lausberga. Dále se práce dotýká teorie politického projevu a představen je život Fidela Castra jako politika a řečníka.
