Integration of Muslim minorities in comparative perspective

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na charakteristiku a následnou komparaci imigračních a integračních politik Francie a Německa ve spojitosti s muslimskými menšinami. Z časového hlediska práce sleduje pouze vývoj těchto politik od konce 2. světové války po současnost. Zkoumání jednotlivých přístupů jmenovaných států je formou obsahové analýzy podkladů a syntézy získaných informací. Následně jsou získané poznatky porovnány pomocí komparativní metody. Součástí práce je také charakteristika základních pojmů, teoretických modelů a přístupů, které jsou pro tuto problematiku podstatné.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the characteristic and following comparison of the immigration and integration policies in France and Germany related to Muslim minorities. The work follows up only the development of these policies since the end of the World War II up to the present. The study of individual approaches of mentioned states is dealt with the form of content analysis and synthesis of gained information. Afterwards obtained findings are compared by using the comparative method. One part of the thesis is also the characteristic of general terms, theoretical models and approaches, which are essential for this issue.
