Opportunities to increase the efficiency of nitrogen fertilisers in winter rape cultivation

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá posouzením vlivu pozvolně působících dusíkatých hnojiv, tj. hnojiv obalovaných a s inhibitory přeměn dusíku, na výnos semen, jejich olejnatost a výnos oleje řepky ozimé. Dílčím cílem bylo posouzení vyššího využití dusíku u pozvolně působícího hnojiva, a tím možnosti snížení dávky dusíku o 20 %, což vychází ze strategie EU Farm to Fork. Výzkum byl proveden na pozemcích společnosti DVP Agro a byl realizován formou maloparcelního polního pokusu v blízkosti obce Vojkovice jižně od Brna. V pokusu byla použita hnojiva ALZON® neo-N (s inhibitory nitrifikace a ureázy) a oLAD (obalené hnojivo), která byla aplikována ve směsi s granulovaným síranem amonným (SA) v následujících variantách. 1. oLAD + SA (100 %), 2. oLAD + SA (80 %), 3. ALZON + SA (100 %), 4. ALZON + SA (80 %), 5. nehnojená kontrola. Směsi hnojiv byly aplikovány jednorázově při regeneračním hnojení řepky. Statisticky průkazné zvýšení výnosu bylo dosaženo u variant s hnojivem oLAD oproti nehnojené kontrole. Olejnatost semen byla u hnojených variant průkazně snížena s výjimkou varianty ALZON + SA (80 %). Rozdíl mezi výnosy oleje nebyly statisticky průkazné. Bylo potvrzeno, že můžeme aplikovat pozvolně působící hnojivo jednorázově při regeneračním hnojení. Byl prokázán pozitivní vliv síry na využití aplikovaného dusíkatého hnojiva. V porovnání plné a snížené dávky hnojení nebyl zjištěn statisticky významný rozdíl ve výnosu semen, olejnatosti ani výnosu oleje. Můžeme použít 80% dávku pozvolně působícího dusíkatého hnojiva, aniž by došlo ke snížení produkce.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of the effect of slow-acting nitrogen fertilizers, i.e. fertilizers coated and with nitrogen conversion inhibitors, on seed yield, seed oil content and oil yield of winter rape. A sub-objective was to assess the higher nitrogen utilisation of slow-acting fertilisers and thus the possibility of reducing the nitrogen application rate by 20 %, based on the EU Farm to Fork strategy. The research was carried out on DVP Agro land and was implemented as a small-plot field trial near the village of Vojkovice, south of Brno. The fertilizers used in the experiment were ALZON® neo-N (with nitrification and urease inhibitors) and cCAN (coated fertilizer), which were applied in a mixture with granulated ammonium sulphate (AS) in the following variants. 1. cCAN + AS 100%, 2. cCAN + AS 80%, 3. ALZON + AS 100%, 4. ALZON + SA 80%, 5. unfertilised control. The fertilizer mixtures were applied only once in the first spring fertilization of rape immediately after winter. A statistically significant yield increase was achieved for the variants with cCAN fertilizer compared to the unfertilized control. Seed oil content was conclusively reduced in the fertilized variants except for the ALZON + AS 80% variant. The difference in oil yields were not statistically significant. It was confirmed that we can apply the slow acting fertilizer once during the regenerative fertilization. A positive effect of sulphur on the utilisation of applied nitrogen fertiliser was demonstrated. No statistically significant difference was found in seed yield, oil yield or oil yield when comparing full and reduced fertiliser rates. We can apply an 80% rate of slow-acting nitrogen fertilizer without reducing production.
